Black Men On The Rise "Male Inspired Mondays"

Back in 2015, I ran into a guy on Instagram who I had unfollowed because at the time,  I didn't know why I was following someone I didn't know lol. That next morning I woke up with a notification from the same person I unfollowed asking me why did I unfollow him lol In my mind, I was thinking to myself why in the hell does it matter. But then, in an instant, after actually examining his page and noticing what he does as a passion, we started to connect on a business level that turned into a brotherhood. This hard working gentleman that I speak of, is none other than Kwame Krakue.

Kwame is a native from Orangeburg, South Carolina and is also a graduate of Charleston Southern University in 2010 with a degree in Mass Communication/Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Kinesiology. A former college football standout, he earned Second Team Big South Conference Honors as a wide receiver in 2009; and was selected as a National Strength and Conditioning All American in 2010. After College, he went on to have Professional Football Stints in the IFL and the AFL. Kwame recently relocated to the Atlanta Georgia area and is now the Head Media Correspondent for MOTMagazine (Matter of Time) , and Up and Coming Atlanta based Publication that features the the next wave of entertainers in music, film, philanthropy, and sports. While with MOTMagazine, he has conducted numerous 1-on-1 interviews with upcoming music artists, actors, actresses and has served as a hosts for several important functions and Red Carpet Events.

Even though I have only known this great individual for a year and some change; Kwame has become not only a great friend, and a brother from another mother, but little does he know, he has become one of my role models. I remember when I first started working with him when he asked me to be apart of MOT Magazine and how it went from a full team to a 2 man army with Jahret Rainey (who is also one of the greatest photographers and filmmakers). Together these 2 BLACK men have achieved so much in so little time because they stayed committed and faithful to their dream and took "NO" for answer.

Kwame, I don't say it enough, but thank you for the motivation, thank you for your skill, and thank you for never giving up on YOUR own dream to become great which has inspired me to not give up on my own. I'm proud of you bro. Keep rising to the top and save room for me.
