Why Be Fearful Of Your Own Creation?
Back last year in November, I was leaving LA with my friends from having a great birthday weekend of celebrating the big 25. I kept thinking to myself 25 years of life on this Earth, and what have I done to prove I have a purpose here on this Earth. What have I done to utilize my talents to the best of my ability? Why do I continue to give up so easily, when things don't go the way I want them to go? What could I do differently, that will make me become better as a man, with a better attitude and better outlook on where my life is headed?
On the flight back home to Atlanta, I had one of the most weirdest, but eye opening dreams that I think God could have ever given me in my sleep. In this dream, I was running, however, I could only see my feet. I didn't know where I was running to, or why I was running, but I could feel my self looking back as I was running, thinking to myself, what am I running away from. Eventually, I stopped running. I turned around, and saw myself on the other side staring at me. Crazy right? I was looking at myself as myself was looking at me. For the longest until about three days ago, I did not know the meaning of this dream. Well, I came up with my own meaning, but a wise friend of mine gave me a totally different viewpoint of my dream after I shared it with her.
She told me that I was running away from my greater being. That I was fearful of who I was becoming of what God has brought me on this world to be. My friend opened my eyes to realize, often times, we create things that could bring meaning to the world, but we want to come up with our own process of how we want the world to see it. Then we become fearful of our own creation because it's not going how we expected it to go. However, what we fail to realize is that, our greater is already waiting for us, but because we have that ONE minor setback we give up on our creation and we become scared because it's not going the way WE wanted it to go. What we and I, myself had to realize is, that God is in charge of our process. HE has the final say so in how he wants you to experience your breakthrough for your greater.
I look back at so many things that I have given up on, only because it didn't go the way I wanted it to go, and not realizing that it went that way because God wanted it to be that way. I was afraid of my own talent, my own creation, and most importantly I was afraid of myself. In life we have to know and understand that everything you want to conquer or accomplish will not be easy. There will be trials and tribulations, but you have to push through. You have to complete the process and not run away from YOUR greater. Realize the power you possess. Believe in your creation, take ownership of your creation, be faithful and trustworthy in your process, and become great. Put into the atmosphere what you want and what you need instead of how you want it and how you need it. After you confess your needs and wants, be faithful. In other words, no more C O M P L A I N I N G ! Try at least 10 days without complaining, even through all your hardships this week, instead of complaining, realize it's your process for your greater.
Hopefully whoever reads this, this post works for you this week, I know it will for me.
